Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Temp Tennis website (temptennis.com.au, run by Temp Tennis, "we", "us") handles information about visitors. The short version: submitting the enrolment form saves your details securely on our server so we can follow up even if a text or email doesn't go through, and we use standard analytics to understand how the site is used. We don't sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.

1. The enrolment form

The trial-booking form on our enrol page saves the details you enter — your child's name and age, preferred program and days, and whichever contact details you choose to provide (your name, phone and/or email) — to a secure database on our server, so our coaches can follow up even if you don't finish sending the text or email it also prepares. All fields except the player's name are optional. The form then composes a text message or email inside your own phone's messaging or mail app, pre-filled with the same details, which you can send directly to us.

This information is only accessible to authorised Temp Tennis staff through a password-protected admin login, and is used solely to respond to your enquiry and manage bookings. If you'd like your enrolment details deleted, contact us using the details in section 5.

2. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located (city level), and which buttons are clicked. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies in your browser for this purpose. We have configured it conservatively: advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled, and the data is used only to improve the site and our programs.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings — the site works fine without them.

3. Third-party services

  • Google Fonts — the site's fonts load from Google's servers, which involves your browser making a request to Google.
  • Cloudflare — the site is delivered through Cloudflare's network for speed and security, which processes visitor requests as a standard part of serving the site.
  • Google Maps — the "Open in Google Maps" link on our contact page takes you to Google's site, which has its own privacy policy.

4. Children

This website is directed at parents and adults, not children. Enrolment details are provided by a parent or guardian filling in the form on their behalf — the site does not collect anything directly from children, and does not knowingly allow children to submit the form themselves.
